Vegan Protein Oatmeal

Today for breakfast I made high protein oatmeal! It was delicious and such an easy way to incorporate more protein into breakfast. For the protein I used Green Boy protein powder which I am OBSESSED with their protein powders only have one ingredient, yeah you heard that right. Compared to my old protein powders which have like 100 ingredients and I can not even say half of them, but in Green Boy protein is one and I can say it. ingredients:
• 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats
• 1 cup water
• pinch of sea salt
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 scoop protein powder, I used Green Boy Protein powder !
how to make
1. Add you oats and sea salt and water to a pot, stir to combine. Add cinnamon and vanilla, if using.
2. Heat over medium-high heat for 8-10 minutes or until all the liquid has been absorbed. Be sure to stir the oats several times while cooking, when done.
3. Remove oats from the heat and stir in your protein powder. If the consistency of the oats gets too thick, add in a little more water or milk.
4. Transfer oats to a bowl and top with your favorite oatmeal toppings. I used made by blu almond butter, almonds, coconut flakes and some chia seeds.
