Staying Healthy While Eating Out

Restaurants are opening up and you are heading out to dinner with friends. While going out to eat is fun sometimes it is hard to stay healthy, and not indulge in a nice big bowl of pasta. So here are some tips to eat out but healthy without just getting a salad.



1. If you are ordering a pasta dish, ask if they can swap the pasta with zoodles or spaghetti squash.


2. Craving that delicious sushi roll. Ask for no rice and just seaweed, or ask if it can be wrapped in soy paper or cucumber with no rice. And try not to order a roll that is a tempura roll.


3. Want that chicken taco, see if you can get a lettuce shell or eat your tacos without any shell.


4. About to order that nice juicy burger, ask for no bun or better yet a lettuce bun.


5. If your dish includes rice ask if it can be subbed for quinoa or cauliflower rice.
